Get Advice

Forest of Dean CAB provides free, confidential and independent advice from eight different locations across the Forest of Dean District.

Outreach Service | Money Advice Service | Online CAB advice

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Advice is available face-to-face and by telephone. We also offer a home visiting service.
Our advice helps people resolve their debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems and is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.

Generalist Service - Bureau

Our main bureau is located in Cinderford with numerous other venues around the Forest.  These offer both drop-in and appointment sessions.  You can also access our Telephone Advice lines.  We offer some general help with casework, but the majority of our work is one off enquiries. Outreach Service

Our outreach team provides a generalist service, operating from various venues throughout the Forest of Dean.

The outreach team operates a static and home visiting service to compliment the work of the Bureau.  The team receives self referrals, referrals from the Bureau and other agencies.  It offers some general help with casework, but the majority of our work is one off enquiries.

Money Advice Service

Our specialist money advice service is a team of money advice workers who have developed an expertise in money advice and welfare benefits.  The service aims to enable financial well being for clients and provides:

(1) specialist advice and casework through to representation
(2) internal and external consultancy on money advice
(3) training of internal volunteers and staff.
The team receives the majority of its referrals from the Bureau and other agencies.

Information is continuously reviewed by our team of advisers and covers England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
